The other day, I was discussing ( http://thefisheriesblog.blogspot.in/2012/02/5-of-us-freshwater-fish-species.html) with my colleagues and they suggested I submit an article of my own. Your site is just perfect for what I have written! Would it be ok to submit the article? It is free of charge, of course!

Let me know what you think
Contact me at john26anderson@gmail.com

Regards,
John AndersonJohn Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13307699167919496064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3749343122757958445.post-58438533842161572682012-03-02T09:06:39.843-05:002012-03-02T09:06:39.843-05:00The information provided by "eventer79" ...The information provided by "eventer79" demonstrates an even greater need to make sure those that have information about these species continue to monitor the population/populations over time. While more evaluation time may not be good in terms of possible habitat losses and further declines in numbers of individuals, it will give a better view into the trends to make sure that better informed decisions are made (hopefully minimizing the possibility for future legal disputes).pcooneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10324823655336464273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3749343122757958445.post-59806980608343303002012-03-01T11:47:19.088-05:002012-03-01T11:47:19.088-05:00You said you never had comments; that sounded like...You said you never had comments; that sounded like a challenge to me. Point 1: Patrick should really spellcheck his titles. ;-P Point 2: Which is actually relevant. It is important to note that aside from an intial 90-day review, NONE of these species will be able to be addressed by USWFS staff until they deal with another 204-ish species that WildEarth Guardians sued over - a settlement was reached and those 200-ish species, languishing in candidate status, must be dealt with over the next six years.

As a result, the species in this petition will not see any action until AT LEAST 2018 and some will not be appropriate for listing at all. A lot can change in six years.

HAHA, I COMMENT!eventer79https://www.blogger.com/profile/03160817772061132147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3749343122757958445.post-7813261221160113752012-02-27T07:18:56.269-05:002012-02-27T07:18:56.269-05:00Leave a comment and let us know what you think of ...Leave a comment and let us know what you think of The Fisheries Blog.
